Terms of trade
The commercial terms that apply to our quotations, sales and marketplace.
Last updated August 2026
1. Scope
These terms govern use of the Ace Trading website, the marketplace operated at market.acetradingksa.com, and quotations issued by us. They do not replace a signed supply agreement where one exists.
2. Quotations and availability
Quotations are valid for the period stated on the quotation and are subject to prior sale. Prices exclude VAT and delivery unless stated otherwise.
Availability is confirmed at the time of quotation. Where a unit is sold before your acceptance, we will offer the nearest equivalent at the quoted grade.
3. Grading and inspection
Containers are sold by grade: One Trip, Cargo Worthy, Wind & Watertight, As Is or Refurbished. Grade definitions are published on our Services page and are applied consistently.
Buyers are entitled to inspect a unit at the depot during business hours before purchase. Where inspection is waived, our written condition report and photographs are the agreed record of condition at handover.
4. Payment, title and release
Payment is by bank transfer against invoice unless credit terms are agreed in writing. Title passes on receipt of cleared funds in full.
Units are released against a release note. Storage charges may apply where a unit is not collected within the free period stated on the invoice.
5. Delivery
Delivery is quoted separately and is subject to site access. The buyer is responsible for confirming that the site can receive the specified transport and for any permits, ground preparation or lifting equipment required at the delivery point.
6. Marketplace listings
The marketplace carries listings from approved third-party sellers as well as our own stock. Listings marked “Ace Stock” are supplied by us; all other listings are supplied by the named seller.
We verify sellers before approval and review listings before publication, but we are not a party to a transaction between a buyer and a third-party seller unless we are named as the supplier on the invoice.
Sellers warrant that they own or are authorised to sell the units they list, that descriptions and grades are accurate, and that photographs depict the actual units offered.
7. Seller obligations and suspension
Approved sellers must keep listings current, withdraw sold stock promptly, and respond to buyer inquiries within two business days.
We may suspend or remove a seller or a listing at our discretion where descriptions are inaccurate, stock is not available as listed, or conduct damages buyer trust. Suspension takes effect immediately and removes all of that seller's listings from public view.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, our liability arising from any sale is limited to the invoice value of the units concerned.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, contract or use.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the courts of the Kingdom have exclusive jurisdiction.
This page is a commercial starting point drafted for a container trading business. Have it reviewed by a qualified lawyer in the Kingdom before you rely on it, and align it with your commercial registration, VAT registration and any signed supply agreements.
