FAQ
Agriculture containers — FAQ
- Can a container be used for cold storage on a farm?
- Yes. A reefer container is a ready-made cold room that holds produce, dairy and other perishables at temperature on the farm — a practical way to cut post-harvest loss when the nearest commercial cold store is far away.
- How do containers protect feed and fertiliser?
- A sealed steel container keeps feed, seed and fertiliser dry and rodent-proof, which open or timber stores cannot. We add ventilation and shelving so stock stays in good condition through the seasons.
- Are containers good for storing farm equipment?
- Yes. A lockable 20FT or 40FT keeps pumps, irrigation parts, tools and machinery secure and out of the weather between seasons, and the box relocates if your operation moves fields.
- Can I buy both a cold store and a dry store together?
- Yes. Many farms take a reefer for produce alongside dry standard or high-cube units for feed, inputs and equipment — specified, priced and delivered together from one supplier.
